Our very own Dr. Henry and Dr. Nicole have successfully earned their Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic. This accomplishment is a testament to their dedication and commitment to providing world-class chiropractic care to our community.
This certification, sponsored by the Life University Department of Postgraduate Education and The Pediatric Experience, required 80 hours of rigorous postdoctoral training. Our doctors not only completed this training but also passed all exams and the final practical with flying colors.
Diving Deep into Pediatric Chiropractic Science
Over the past weekend, the training included an in-depth exploration of the science behind The Perfect Storm and the 10D Model of Subluxation. This knowledge equips our doctors with a profound understanding of the neurological mechanisms that contribute to the high incidence of illness and stress in children from an early age.
It’s a sad reality that over 50% of our children are diagnosed with at least one chronic illness, and 1 in 6 struggle with mental health issues. These statistics were recorded before the added stress and anxiety brought on by the events of 2020, which have undoubtedly exacerbated these numbers.
Advanced Training for Better Care
The training from The Pediatric Experience and Life University also focused on advanced levels of Analysis, Case Management, and the Neuro-Tonal Adjusting approach. This means that every aspect of the care we provide at First Steps Chiropractic is now more advanced and thorough than ever before.
